Yeah I agree, but the biggest issue is at #3. I personally still feel like MMarsh isn't that long for this team, especially if he's (rightly) superseded by Green in the bowling pecking order. I don't think he's good enough to survive on his batting alone; Green (when bowling like he did yesterday) at least adds a lot more to the table other than batting.

Yeah agree with all that. Three is always the most important position in the line up because 1 fer isn’t a big deal but 2 fer always is.
Hmm could bottleneck talent, and the best FC systems throw up late bloomers who you thought were journeymen who are actually really good. Head, Khawaja, Mitch Marsh, Chris Rogers, Adam Voges etc.

"Come good" probably the wrong wording, "find form again" probably closer to the mark.
Usually the #6 before they started trying to pick all-rounders was a young guy who wasn't properly established in the team. So I guess they'd just pick the next best batsman out of the team unless he was an opener. In which case....I dunno.
Haha the first three names absolutely do not fall under that category; those three were talent-ID'd young and had to have plenty of Test experience under their belts - like, 30-40+ Tests - until they really "came good". They learned their craft at the top level, not at FC level.
Well then you have the luxury of playing a young specialist batter at #6 (McSweeney?). Or, if Head stops being such a helpful hack when in early strife, he can slot down a spot.
