I'll never understand why the selector's keep trying to use green as a ben stokes/wagner style "bowl bouncers, break partnerships with the old ball." Like, I get it, he's tall and occasionally bowls a nasty bouncer, but you see him bowl like a normal bowler and beat the edge and just wonder WTF is going on in there heads.

Honestly. His best spells in Tests where he's basically bowled like a less accurate Hazlewood clone yet half the time they want him to bowl like Mitch Johnson.

I think it's mostly because that's what Cummins wants from the fifth bowler. If he wants normal bowling he just bowls himself or Haze. He doesn't have anyone else who's actually good at this kind of thing when he wants.

It's definitely dumb though. He's underbowled in general and consistently given stupid plans.

Well he'll need normal bowling from him today because he's going to need all six of his bowlers. I just checked the latest weather observations and. Ew. No thanks.

The fact that starc wasted the new ball this morning is gonna be a massive pain in the ass. Batting get's really easy once the ball is soft, and unlike the first two innings the windies haven't thrown away all their top order wickets by the time the ball is soft. Could be a long day in the field.

Does Cam Green have no say in how he plays his cricket ? Seems to be a lot of excuses made for him
