Surely the Basin Reserve is ‘the home of New Zealand cricket’, if anywhere is. It has got the history. Mark Richardson says it is Hagley Oval, which - although a lovely ground - has only been used from relatively recently for international cricket matches.

It's possible to have fingers under it as well as it touching the grass. Don't hate the decision on review, but definitely seems enough doubt for mine to give the benefit of the doubt to the batter.

Seifert's T20I numbers aren't that terrible, obv has boosted that against weaker attacks at home, but it's the way he looks so ugly in the process of making those runs that engenders a lack of confidence.
