Haha yes I certainly am. He was just ****ing jacked.

You're known for being wrong but it's one of the most obviously wrong things I've ever seen posted. If anything it's the opposite - his body fat percentage was probably tiny.
Oh fair enough (having just seen a frankly disturbing picture of him with his shirt off with Symonds and Johnson). I still imagine him with an arse the size of Tasmania though.

At what? Using up reviews? Getting highlights in his hair? Being a fat ****?
You're like one of those teenage girls who would see a sub 10% bf bodybuilder and think he's fat aren't you

Edit: I see this has been covered already, unlike Shane Watson in that pic from Gob's special folder

The bloke famously got deep into Pilates around his return to the Test side in 2009-10 and IIRC he went full-wellness on his diet too, incorporating regular fasting and all. I genuinely don't think there have been many players who were more "stereotypical health fanatic" types to play Test cricket than him. He probably could start a wellness TikTok and have a second career just as lucrative as cricket was marketing to the massive - and completely insane - wellness trends there.

Hitler has wet dreams of Shane Watson.

The man had injury issues but it wasn't due to any lack of discipline. Heck, maybe he pushed too hard to be incredibly fit and strong.

harsh thing to say about the dude who played with a bloodied knee for your ipl team in a final
Watson spent more time injured during his career than not, even when he did play he often couldn't bowl. It's not harsh, he clearly had fitness issues

I think he probably overdid the gym and was less flexible and carried more weight in muscle mass than optimal, making him more prone to soft tissue injuries. Most fast bowlers aren't very beefy, unlike him, and you can see his action get a lot less fluid over the years.

I think Jhye Richardson is going through something similar since he's added a lot of upper body muscle to try stabilise his shoulder. He's less fluent, slower, and gets injured very often.
