One problem with him that's occurred to me just this game, but hasn't really mattered before, is his lack of fitness (ie cramping and struggling with long innings) will probably mean he can't bowl if he's batted for a while. Can't exactly build your side around him as an all-rounder if that's the case. More like play him as a batsman and any overs are a bonus
I think lack of fitness is an unfair way to put it given we're pretty clear on where it comes from but yeah it's pretty clear that they don't want him to bowl this game because he's batted too much, otherwise this kind of deck screamed for him to have a bowl before Mitch Marsh.

You're inferring that "lack of fitness" means he's lazy or it's his fault somehow, which I get, but that's not the case. It's just a blunt statement of where he's at. If anything he should be praised for doing as well as he is. It's extremely impressive
