I dont think the first wicket was actually out there btw. Can cut Sai and PDP some slack, and for Easwaran perhaps but the Sarfraz one was awful.

As much as Sky is better they are lacking in the ability to restart the programme via their ****e Sky go app. So for me this is perfect not having to get up earlier to watch play.

Coz I think any batsman can be tentative for the first few balls of his innings and the ball kinda stopped on him a bit as well with the leg side shot.
I think the horrible leave was Sarfraz and that is the one that has no excuse even if the batsman was in single figures and just starting his innings. Need better judgement if you are playing at the international level, even if its A team series.

You would have thought he is a reasonable bet for getting home tests later in the year with the absence of Broad coming into focus for the first time. Always a tougher gig to get away tests with at least one less seamer likely to be selected.

Had a really good Summer in the Championship too, feels like it will be him or Tongue to move in to Broad's spot.
Potts and Robinson should be leading Eng's bowling attack in the near future.
Potts not only has an excellent record, he is the least injury prone out of all the young seamers, afaik.

Weird they are normally a good few mins behind live sport, football anyways.
But they've got it at close of play India 159-4, needing 331 to win.
Whereas Cricinfo and Cricbuzz both 10-2 at Tea
Potts having a blinding match 6/45 and 44 not out. Couldn't have done much better.
Parkinson giving a good account of himself 4/102 across the two innings. Albeit 4.5 RR
They've enjoyed Carson 0/72 from his 8 overs.

and somewhat well hidden, as in I went in maybe 10 mins ago, load of headlines about women salary, bouncers, NZ, Hartley, Jacks, Lewis, Rohit, Sackin, retiring quartet, emissions etc, (reeling off the cricket home page) and no sign that England lions were even playing!!!
not sure re mackem "Parkinson giving a good account of himself" will be viewed as highly by selectors, two lower order batsmen for the A side 1st innings, ER doesn't matter heaps in Tests so not bad SRs either innings, but relatively speaking better than some fellow bowlers, not that impressive compared to eg Potts.
can't see it securing him an India Test tour in the future, maybe why he's been fringe for so long when really given the (lack of) competition ought to be in most subcontinent touring parties if much kop
