Not sure if Australia actually start as a favorites against Indies with Sobers. But, you can’t have Sobers in the team anyway.Roberts over Marshall in the WI xi and Lloyd or Sarwan or Chanders over Sobers. Still Australia is number one. Obviously not to the same extent as in tests but it's obviously Australia.
England shouldn't be ahead of Sri Lanka and NZ as apart from Flintoff their bowlers are much worse.Australia

Rice is available for SA; he just can't be kept ahead of Klusner in ODIsIf Sobers is picked for the Windies then Rice should be picked for SA.

And?Buttler has never opened in ODIs.
Why? Shastri was a quality ODI player in the 80s. He was player of the tournament when India won the World Championship of Cricket in 1985.Shastri over Jadeja makes no sense....
By that logic I'd pick Conway instead of McCullum in a hypothetical NZ team and make him wicketkeeper, but I won't because he has never kept in an ODI.And?

Conway is poor man's Shaun Marsh. Don't know why he should be considered at allBy that logic I'd pick Conway instead of McCullum in a hypothetical NZ team and make him wicketkeeper, but I won't because he has never kept in an ODI.
While opening. And that was just one tournament, his batting was accumulative for the most part and bowling part timer level. At 7, Jadeja is a better batsman, much much better bowler and definitely better fielder. Why? Shastri was a quality ODI player in the 80s. Jadeja in an ATG odi xi? Really?Shastri over Jadeja makes no sense....
he is the best of a bad bunch of all rounders we haveJadeja in an ATG odi xi? Really?
You can't pick all time XIs just looking at just balance too much though. He hasn't even been regularly selected in the odi team through his career, how can we justify picking him for an all time xi.he is the best of a bad bunch of all rounders we have
i would rather play Dev at 7 and Ashwin or Kuldeep at 8 in place of Jadeja tbf. probably Kuldeep
