Davidson is a hard one to judge. Lacks longevity and played in a bowling era. Could see an argument for him to be a bit lower. He was faultless from the SA tour onwards though.

He really is. I'm going to look back to see where I rated him, but I'm sure it's below Lindwall. His average is so very good that it begs for inclusion, but....

Can’t fault Davidson or Lindwall for the era. They would be in the Mcgrath / Ambrose / Akram discussion in a different time.

no Venkatesh Prasad though

I don’t disagree. It was poetry watching him bowl.

My only point is he did get 150+ test wickets, which is an accomplishment in itself. He could have had 400 if he was healthy
He got those 161 wkts in 43 tests but he had about 100 wkts after about 20 tests pre injury. I hope you see what I'm alluding to. Bishop, very easily should have ended up with 350+ wkts at 21-23 average and a sr in the high 40s low 50s in 80 tests or so. And unlike Ambrose, he was more than capable of making the wicket a non-factor. 161 wkts in 43 tests at 24 is good and all but doesn't remotely reflect Bishop's trajectory.

Do you guys think Bumrah will also turn in a 'What if' or he will end up to be an ATG?
I think if he can maintain his fitness for the next 5 years and ends up playing most of India's test during that time, I think he will end up being ATG. He has all the tools and also some of the performances to back his claim to ATG status.
