I think he just completely misread the length. Expected the full ball and didn't realise it was coming at his head until it was hitting him

At least Masood and Rizwan were able to make it through to lunch, they saved that session from being a complete disaster for Pakistan.

There is still a lot of work for them to do after lunch though to get them to a respectable total and even then it probably won't be enough.

Masood has been pretty jammy all series but his shot a minute approach has somehow worked out ok for him.

You just so feel Rizwan is going to spoon that off/cover drive. He reaches out in such a way that he always plays it on the up.
