Whatever it takes!!!
Really think Rohit should take a break from international cricket for mental health reasons. He is clearly still stung by the WC defeat and is not helping himself or his team by being here. Its ok to find it hard to come back after that kind of a loss.

I think Rohit is not in a good space mentally. Seems like still struggling to digest the WC loss. Won't be massively surprised if he calls it as the captain in tests
I dunno about calling it in but I definitely think he is not ready to come back to international cricket yet. It can happen when you stake everything on a tournament. But he really should just take a break and let the others play IMO.

Looks like Virat is playing for the draw.

With all the crap sa cricket has gone through, this test match is just unbelievable.

And we are one player short.

Nothing more could had been done there.... South Africa deserved this win; our bowling and batting both were **** except a few good fights.

Seriously impressive by SA. If de Zorzi and Bedingham follow up on their promise - and they somehow replace Elgar - then they could be back competing at the pointy end of Test cricket in no time.

Bumrah's figures flattered him greatly. Wasn't impressed with his bowling at all. He just wasn't as useless as thakur and prasidh.
Tbf it's tough to do everything on your own when you have negligible support from the other end (though Siraj was good in bursts)

Did Pollock seriously say south africa were underdogs this series? I'm sorry, I wholeheartedly reject that notion and anyone who thought that was wrong. This India team us way worse than the one that lost in 2018 and 2021. Baffling statement.
Two debutants.
South african test cricket is at its lowest in living memory.
We also only play two twst matches a year, 4 days of cricket will blow most of these players minds.

Hardly baffling imho
