Yeah best Deshi fast bowling talent for a very long time. Just looked the part from day 1.

He had a post injury blip when he was bowling about 125kph and I was worried he'd be stuck there forever as some of them have been, but he's trending nicely

If he'd read every other post we've made about him he'd be the daddy of Babar

The only evidence I can find of him doing well in NZ (a century in a test) was actually 3 tours back, not to mention the different format - 2018/19 (you've subsequently been here in 2020/21, 21/22, and now).

It was on the flattest deck known to man as well from memory. New Zealand made 700 with Soumya also outbowling all our quicks.

I've been quite impressed with him from the first time I saw him. Has a more traditional approach compared to the Fizz so I could see him going better at Test level as well.
