Lance Morris released from Aussie squad for 2nd Test. They should have also released Green as he has less chance of playing than Morris

I kind of agree that the last day got a little too extreme when it came to uneven bounce, but it’s still Day 4.
Yeah there was nothing wrong with it for a 4th day Test pitch. This is what's supposed to happen. Late in the game a Test match wicket shouldn't have even bounce.

Anyway it's not like batting was impossible, Khawaja and Marsh were doing ok

Exactly the same boomer pundits will turn around and moan about how flat pitches are and how easy batsmen have it if they roll out one of the late WACA roads.
Pitches should neither be roads nor should they have inconsistent bounce that could lead to injuries. They're the two worst kinds of pitches.

Bear in mind I didn't see a ball of play after day 1.

Stuff me, some figures are crawling out of the woodwork and saying unironically that the pitch was too dangerous.

May as well use tennis balls.
I know one of them is Scuba O'Donnell, who seems to be priming himself for filling the 'old man shouting at clouds' role previously held by messers N.Harvey, Chappell(s) etc, with Mitchell Johnson lining up as a newcomer.

I don't even read Australian media and I've seen three articles from him on NZ being too nice because we gave Kohli his bat with cramp, no one in the ground in Perth acknowledged Warner's 100 and now (these are the words I remember) that the Perth pitch was dangerous because 'world class player' Mitchell Marsh got hit in the head by a guy bowling 127.

It would be especially irritating to see them roll out a road next season when India are touring.

Would it have made any difference to the result if Pakistan had won the toss?

I note that Cummins has now won 9 of the last 10 in Aus. I'm not sure it's affecting results, but it certainly doesn't help the touring teams.
