it's been the case for teams touring aus for as long back as i can remember. india has always been competitive although only started winning series recently and the south africans have obviously been standouts here. england had that ashes series at the turn of the decade prior, and other than that it has been inevitable. obvs good to watch australia win but most series here are the antithesis of entertaining from a competitiveness pov
