Wagner would be an ATG stupid selection decision if he was picked. Not saying it wouldn't happen...but bringing in the guy who's on his last legs to replace spinners who didn't have enough control, would be almost hilarious in its absurdity.
Approximately 50% chance atm

Attack should stay the same IMO. Rachin for for Nicholls - ask him if he'd prefer to open or bat 4 long term and give Latham the other spot.
Was thinking the same. Latham at 4 is the sort of tactical move you’d think a team should make when 1-0 down in a 2 match subcontinent series. Though dropping Nicholls one game after scoring a double hundred isn’t the NZ way.

A short interview with Ronchi on OneNews tonight saying “the batters have been playing really, really well, they finished the home season really well 1 through to 6, and we back those guys”. Off the back of that, I’d say there won’t be changes to the batting side of things.

Kane can have a trundle as well but either way it's enough spin.
When you're picking batsmen based on their ability to bowl spin or arguing that specialist spinners should be dropped purely because specialist batsmen can bowl spin, then i'd argue you aren't embarking in joined up thinking; particularly when playing in natural spinning conditions.

Point 1:
Is Ravindra in better current batting form than Nicholls?

Point 2: Has Nicholls consistently really struggled away from home (even including his very good neutral series in the UAE)?

Point 3: Is Ravindra a potential 10-year test player for an aged team past its peak?

Yes to all three.
