cause it’s NSW and they’re dumb af
And that’s 5
Hard to argue in a general sense, but it still seems odd.

So too was him even leaving Victoria in the first place, was pretty much their best bowler in the previous two or three seasons before. Wasn't having a brilliant time of it that year, but he got dropped for a clearly well past it Andrew Fekete, which just seemed utterly bizarre at the time and even more so in hindsight. The Vics (as we have been able to see since) had a decent stock of young quicks at their disposal, why they were giving Fekete games makes precisely no sense whatsoever

Honestly do sometimes wonder if Tremain had have stayed put, whether it would have been him and not Boland to get a test dayboo that Ashes boxing day test

Definitely would’ve been interesting - but Boland still probably wins tbh

also - they said on comms Ollie Davies broke his finger? **** that’s not good

The Shield hasn't been a good advertisement for Australian cricket for eons tbh.

Could be worse, having to watch Haseeb Hameed or Will Rhodes for 10 + matches a season

Tremain definitely to me seemed to be the slightly more highly rated of the two by most at the time. But ultimately we will never know what may have happened.

SCG better shape up soon or this could be a calamity come Jan
Saw that there have been no totals over 276 or something this season at the SCG?

Looking at the replays, absolutely filthy. Not like it's been exactly great batting weather in all fairness, been a stinker this week.

Fergus o'neill has sneakily produced some good allround numbers. Is he a bowler with the skills to succeed at international level or is he gonna be somewhere on the tremain-bird scale for his career?

It'd be very Victorian for them to poison our National Team with a guy called Fergus

With Hunt's latest failure I can't help but feel disappointed that both he and Street utterly failed to take up the mantle to shake things up for post-Warner and Khawaja options. Couple of years ago they both looked like they could get in the running eventually, even if they were horribly slow.

He's basically Clint Mckay

But then I'd say the same about Boland a couple years ago

Watched the day 3 highlights of NSW v Tas.

There were cracks running down the pitch just outside the stumps.

Most of the wickets particularly Bell's and Tremain's , came from balls pitching on those cracks.
