This is what most people don't get about Australians. We COULD just stomp everyone, but, you know...goodwill. When we lose, it is all about keeping the interest of others in the game. 18/19 & 20/21 versus India. Would they have ever come back if we bullied them again? This will keep them playing for another century.
England 2005 and 2011 - They would have stopped playing and just concentrated on not making Soccer World Cups. Little bitches are just a whitewash away from giving it up, though, so have had to let them take away draws at home, or the Ashes is finished.
2019 WC - Saved world depopulation of 2 billion heads exploding if we did another 3peat. It was meant to be India winning that world cup, but we can't control Indian 'goodwill' towards NewZealand.

SKY clearly has a poor record in ODIs and he's 33 years of age. Different gravy in t20 although the value of these games is next to nothing apart from for Indian money men. Not really surprised to see Australia fail here. Pointless series with many of their blokes clearly having a few games too many.

Really? To keep BCCI happy obviously. Have to give them a few big names at least.

It's insane from our point of view though. After the winter away they've had keeping Head, Smith, even Marsh in India after the final is self-destructive.

Fr though, idk why Head is there. And he hasn’t played anyways which makes it even more ridiculous.

Zampa, Stoinis and Maxwell don’t play tests.

Smith has no life and is auditioning for the T20 WC.
