Everyone in cricket is on PEDs except big Dazza MitchellAustralia cheated in the semi final anyway. Using a weather machine to turn that ground into Cardiff is not within the ICC sanctioned playing conditions. India also cheated in the semi by changing the pitch.
They weren't the best side all tournament. But they were the best side in the final by a distance. Conditions weren't the decisive factor. Australia bowled better, batted better and fielded betterNo they weren't. Pretty jammy all tournament.
But eh, India completing a hat trick of chokes does make up for the worse side fluking it.
They are easily the second best side when you look back at the tournament now. They weren't the best side all tournament. But they were the best side in the final by a distance. Conditions weren't the decisive factor. Australia bowled better, batted better and fielded better
And they did this despite all India's home ground advantage, choosing a worn pitch to suit them etc. They are true heroes
Yeah I said exactly this earlier. As much as you can claim that Aus had the better batting conditions at night after that initial burst, the initial burst was brutal and accounted for all the meaningful wickets India got.India had about an hour of play under lights where the ball was hooping all corners. It was easily the hardest time to bat in the whole game for either side and that was the biggest risk Cummins took with the toss. They could have easily had Australia 6 down for 50 as they did to most other teams in the tournament but Australia weatherd that period without completely falling over and went on to win.
If you can't recognise that, you are a bit of a salty sook
I'm gonna be honest, I think india wasted those early conditions a bit. Tons of wides/extra, shami barely looked like he could control the ball in his first two overs, and the wickets india did get where from two wide half trackers and an LBW that was outside the line. Bumrah bowled really well in between the **** wickets, but they definitely didn't maximize it.Yeah I said exactly this earlier. Shami lost his control though. He was bowling wide and couldn't control the swing. Australia gifted them three wickets with loose shots and a non-review.India had about an hour of play under lights where the ball was hooping all corners. Yup. Add some bad keeping to that too. Which is why I say India bottled it. They clearly looked under pressure.I'm gonna be honest, I think india wasted those early conditions a bit. You don't understand what is plan B do you? It helps if u actually watch cricketNo. Aside from Rohit and Kohli, everyone else performed below par compared to their performances earlier in the tournament.
KL Rahul couldn't find the gaps or hit out, was crap as keeper. Shami couldn't find his length. Bumrah was only brilliant in spades and expensive. Yadav was playing and missing. Jadeja and Kuldeep couldn't turn it and gave too many loose balls. Gill played a silly shot. Siraj was horrible.
it was a collective underperformance. The pressure got to them. They wilted on the big scene.
Well that's their problem. They had the conditionsShami lost his control though. He was bowling wide and couldn't control the swing. Australia gifted them three wickets with loose shots and a non-review.

And Gill. Don't leave out the GoldenRohit would have definitely bowled . Go and check the Toss and his body language when Cummins won .
However the bigger culprit were SKY , Jadeja and Iyer . Can’t afford to have 3 batting failures in a knockout match.
Apart from ZampaOnce Aus made the final it was basically over. India were like deers in the headlights from the get go. Even Sharma was streaky AF early on.
Honestly, as soon as those eleven uber-masculine, self-confident-but-not-over-confident Aussies strode onto the park for the anthems, this was done. You could see fear and tension in the Indians' eyes. The Aussies carried with them a legacy - that only winning will do.
Doesn't matter where, doesn't matter who they are playing. If you're up against Aus in a WC KO game, you're generally ****ed because they know if they don't come home with the trophy they will be rightfully excoriated and disowned by their people. It breeds excellence.
They also eat steak, not this vegan ****.
Yeah and he bowled ****Isn’t Zampa a vegan?
