***Official***THE FINAL- India vs Australia - November 19th - Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad (D/N)

lol

But seriously, only pig 3 have won ODI WCs in the past 25 years. And that's gonna continue. :(
It's amazing how poorly England manage to perform compared to the other big three countries.

But year, this is the most uninteresting final possible for a neutral.

In 2003 WC , India beat every other side but lost to Australia twice.

Just realised 2011 quarter final between India and Australia happened on the same ground. It was called Motera then, now it has some shitty name.

And in that match we played Ashwin to remove Watson. Should we play Ashwin again to remove Head and Warner?
Wish Hardik wasn’t injured 🤕

A lot of things have fallen into place for both teams in the lead up to this final - some of them were in the works since last year and some are more recent, but both teams have peaked at the right time and look the strongest they have in years.

India:
- Bumrah's recovery and swift return to excellence
- Kohli hitting good form
- Rohit changing his approach completely sometime last year
- Middle order woes fixed by Rahul and Iyer
- Kuldeep bowling quicker and being far more effective

Australia:
- Head's god mode in all formats since ~last year
- Marsh coming out of nowhere to become a solid top order bat
- Zampa rediscovering form during the WC

India's got more going for them but the one thing both of them have in common is they've managed to get rid of the deadweights Stoinis and Thakur

AA is better than he was before but its like saying puking is better than diarrhea
I think this is flawed.

Diarrhea is awful yeah? But at least its watery and you can use some double ply. Drink too much water and not enough fibre? How is that a problem?

Puke though? Undigesting your digested food, liquids and all sorts of goo through your mouth is is tantamount to full blown AIDS. Puking is like watching an Aijinkya Rahane innings, finishing it and then you feel so sick that you watch it back in reverse.

It's tempting but we won't commit 30 overs to spin
It's a tough one for India because against Australia you should go for as much spin as possible .Like 40 overs if you can.

But the Indian quicks have been in such good form you're not going to leave them out

India meanwhile have won ..... f all.
Except 4 test series vs Oz on the trot then that 4 test series in Eng in 2021, the one off tests don't count, & a few bottle jobs back in 2018? Beating any strong team in a series of 4/5/6 tests way is the hardest job in cricket & while winning an "ICC trophy" is nice having one every 6-18 months has massively devalued them, despite ICC bosses telling you otherwise!
