We haven't bowled that well but the bowlers are on to a hiding to nothing bowling on this pitch, it's way too much in favour of the batsmen.

It's not a good pitch even for an ODI, you need a better balance between bat and ball to provide a better contest, only Indian fans will be enjoying this.
Just dont lose wickets in first 10 overs then dew will aid for sure .
Yeah and ur right , it's a total batting wicket , very easy, guys are hitting sixes like video game.
But the scoreboard pressure will be huge , that's the only concern.

Weird how Kohli and Tendulkar both had about 3 years of being utter pony before regaining some top form. Kohli couldn't hit the ball off the square for ages now he can't not find the middle of the bat.

A lot of this tournament has been like that and it's honestly been pretty boring after a while, even when NZ scored 400 vs Pakistan.

Batsmen just clubbing it for 50 overs will kill ODIs for sure.

But taking nothing away from India, they've been great today and the NZ bowlers have been off the mark. So I'm talking more in general across this World Cup.

This will look a different pitch once India has ball in their hands

Not only that he pissed away quite alot of centuries of recent times in the mid 80's & 90's due to rashness.

He could've been on his way to century number 54 or 55 today.

Both of them have had to become a completely different batsman to what they used to be in this process. It's a long process and being an ATG helps with it as you don't get perma-dropped even after being crappy for a long time.
