Back to back sixes & Rahul helps himself to a century.... the fastest by an Indian at the World Cup

Markram & Sharma set their personal records this tournament & have seen them broken before it's even over.

Best I've seen KL bat in a while that, gorgeous hitting.

Supremely confident team this. Good luck anyone.

Washed out warm up game before the tournament started between these two teams India didn't mind that.
Indians got the same warm up game back at much better time in the tournament

Whatever it takes!!!
Batsmen accelerate in last 5.

Ian Smith interviewing one of said batsmen - What prompted you and Shreyas to change gears and go for the big shots?

Rahul - Its not rocket science, really. In the last 10 overs of an ODI, you gotta go for it. (or something to that effect).

I dunno, Kohli, Gill and Sharma couldn’t convert their starts. Need everyone on all cylinders against Boult. Not brimming with any confidence here

idiot getting out late, would otherwise have been "every batsmen made a fifty or hundred" (no time for the new batsman to do so, could also have declared which might have been as an insult but I think beeb naively in the extreme suggesting Holland "could qualify for Champions Trophy with a win" overestimated their chances

3rd total in 45 games of 400+, due to worthless duck one was deemed to be a losing total despite only half the overs being batted with a target less than half - go figure!

EIGHTEEN total batting first of 300+ , lowest total defended by a side chose to bat first is 229 (HOL vs BAN), the other six totals defended having chosen to bat, assuming India win here*, SAF 382 vs BAN, AUS 399 vs HOL, IND 326 vs SAF, ENG 339 vs HOL, ENG 337 vs PAK, and IND 410 vs HOL*

*worthless duck may yet strike again and give Holland a target of 170 off 20 overs if rain were to reduce the overs!! someone needs to rethink these target calculations and factor in anything under 200 in anything up to 30 overs is T20-esque, they need to factor in how many wickets far more and stop basing it on incomparable games data.

You are acting like boult will be getting a green top to bowl on 😂😂
he may not have shot his Boult, but the Indians may well shoot it!

Trent Boult ODIs
vs India (overall) : 25 wkts @ 26.00
vs India (in India) : 11 wkts @ 38.91 (SR 43.45, ER 5.37)

at 4 of the 8 grounds in India against India he's either wicketless (3) or 1/60 (1), however at the semi-final venue he took 4/35 against India albeit over six years ago, not bad wickets either, Dhawan, Rohit, Dhoni and Pandya so all good or capable batsmen

he has Rohit 4 times in ODIs and Kohli 3 times, twice at Bay Oval, once at Old Trafford and neither is this venue, Rohit 3 times in India but 5+ years ago and another more recent but in New Zealand and still 4.75 years ago
