Nah man, I almost put Wasim in the second one.... He, similar to Lillee; is overrated everywhere but here. Kinda similar for Miandad and Hanif, they really aren't overrated here.

Depends obviously on if we’re comparing CW opinion to your opinion or the consensus opinions of experts.
Since the former varies by person to person and is hard to define I’m looking at the later definition.
Miller and Lillee would be considered underrated not overrated lol. Watling is just a really random shout either way. I don’t see how we could possibly be overrating Gavaskar and O’Reilly? Others are decent shouts, Garner is an interesting choice though.
Gooch I’d say we overrate compared to the consensus. Waugh I think we rate him rather perfectly - right behind Border. Knott is in almost everyone’s 2nd XI and is regarded as probably the best pure keeper to play a lotta tests round here - don’t see how that’s underrated. Pollock is a maybe and so is Ashwin. Hadlee? Underrated? wtf. Others are fine.

I have no ideahow well Jadeja would be rated, due to the sheer volume of memes. There was one thread comparing him and Ashwin where he was rated favorably, so in that sense Jadeja would probably be overrated. Over the course of career, I would rate Ashwin a significantly better bowler,and also slightly better all-rounder. Which isn't to say I don't rate Jadeja, because I think Ashwin is an easy ATG.
Jadeja is the slightly better all-rounder at this exact moment though, but the careers are really coming to a close soon now.

Imran and Miandad are clearly the greatest, and most successful Test cricketers Pakistan ever had. How the **** are they overrated? Or are you just being contrarion ( yeah, I know I'm one to talk )?

I kinda get why, but I really think Younis Khan is a tad bit overrated here; while Inzamam Ul Haq is a little underrated. Similarly, I think Waqar Younis is a bit overrated and Wasim Akram a little underrated. As for Imran, he's no doubt one of the best cricketers of all time; but no way he's the best while Don and Sobers exists, and I have seen a no of people to say that he is the best.

Yeah, only way Imran is over rated is if we all proclaimed him unanimous no. 1. It's perceived that I'm not his biggest fan and i wouldn't argue him top 3.
Waqar is hard to rate, and I think he's fairly evaluated here. YK is similarly a mystery.

Ummmm, I would agree with the all-rounders and specialist batsmen.
Coronis says Miller is under rated, but last week we had multiple calling hime the 4th best cricketer of all time, like ever. And if that's the take now, then definitely he's over rated. Some others as well.
Specialist batsmen, definitely, and probably a bit by me as well.
