Flight to the game is an interesting one for Vasbert Drakes...according to what I read, he didn't get there in time to bat in flying out from an international game. Surely that's DNB, not timed out.

I've seen a timed out in club cricket in the UK, opposition player was asleep in a car and they couldn't figure out which one.

Strange dismissals in ODIs

Players to get dismissed by timed out/handled the ball in ODIs

Angelo Mathews - timed out (2023)*
Chamu Chibhabha - handled the ball (2015)
Daryll Cullinan - handled the ball(1999)
Mohinder Amarnath- handled the ball (1986)

Kinda puts Bairstow's run out into perspective.

Proper dick move from Shakib. Yeah, it's in the rules, but it's eff all to do with any cricket skill.

The Maltese lad getting out "hit the ball twice" is just surreal though. My understanding is a batter can only be dismissed if he tries to take a run after hitting it twice? Must've either had a brain fart or flat out didn't know the rules.
