***Official***Match #36 - Australia vs England - November 4th - Ahmedabad

I just don’t get how you let some guy who’s bowled 3 overs the whole game bowl in the last 5 overs
simples, the captain took a punt the aussies wouldn't have to bowl 50 overs, and it backfired

IF aussies do lose from here then that must surely be pinpointed, not as a "moment" but ongoing madness, but then Butthead did similar in not pushing for wickets earlier and trying to get through his weaker bowling which proved stupid as Rashid was held back and came on, took a couple of wickets, and even then England didn't hammer home the advantage

King Kane

International Regular
Woakes should have sent that full toss pie for six too.

And it's all over.

Can't blame the England lower order though, it was their top order that let them down again.

Stoinis = MOTM, taking the key Woakes-et of Wickes

34 from 12 balls, moment of truth, Head, maybe Green? or Smith?, or try and give England no chance in the final over, if it comes to it, and bowl Hazelwood now....

cracking contest, and that second word can't be applied to too many games this tournament

too many so one sided it was beginning to make the world flat!

Must give some credit to Australia

As flawed as they are, not for the life of me could I imagine they will win 5 on the trot after SA game

I think that's our narrowest defeat.
26th game out of 36 where the toss didn't get the toss winner a victory

lower order did well batting, but have to ask if 30-1-188-4 as bowled by Ali, Livingstone, Willey and Wood wasn't contributory to the size of the target ie could have bowled better, or picked better bowlers.
