NZ was 10 runs behind par..

What do you do? You try to bring the game in your favor by bowling your best bowlers... which is Santner from the other end, instead they chose to bowl a leggie with a wet ball and totally gifted the game.

In fact the whole idea of playing him was dumb as **** given his record vs Pakistan and with rain around and tiny boundaries!

Already 4 defeats in a row. I really hope they can win vs SL now.

It's game over for NZ but pak will still not qualify. NZ have an easy SL game coming up which will be easy points and nrr

This is a terrible loss.

It could truly demoralise the entire team going forward.

How do you lose a match where you have posted 400

Need to somehow forget and win next game on same ground which won't be easy with lack of quality bowlers.

Let's not jinx nor assume.

We all made the mistake of assuming the top 4 too early. Afghanistan still have a chance too.

Rain interrupted it and meant a great start to a chase just randomly ended.

Could Pakistan all do what Fakhar did?

Nah probably not. Could Fakhar do it for 40 overs? Maybe. Would've been good to see

Yeah 50 over chase is a whole different ball game. But this defeat will sting more than any other defeat tbh
