well what do you know, shortly after I questioned why Butthead was holding back Rashid so long as the main wicket threat he is finally brought on as aussies appear to be taking control and he promptly throws the game wide open

poor from the aussies mind, see off the threat (s if Woakes remains one later) and it's buffet, Livingstone, Ali, maybe Root who I suspect will be on before long, Willey and Wood
Very fortunate then for English cricket that novice World Cup winner and one day skipper Joss Buttler was reading and taking heed of the posts of renowned pundit and expert @Owzat on cricketweb.net/forum, wasnt it?

**** I hate Joe Root. They just showed him on screen.

I mean, I know all decent people do, but for me it’s far deeper and more intense than that

International Coach
It's important Marnus doesn’t get carried away here as he usually does against spin

Needs to bat through the innings if Aus to get anything decent

Will probably play better as day goes on (like NZ game). Anything under 300 should be a chaseable.
I don’t think it’s playing quite as well as it has in some earlier games - the field they’re setting for Rashid that over, for example, suggests it’s pretty slow and maybe a bit two paced, but certainly agree they’ll still want high 200s at a minimum.

I think it’s coming on better already, anything short now getting easily dispatched.

aus without marsh and maxi vulnerable.

even when fit those two are not guaranteed runs

aus not WC worthy

also likely to lose to lolgland here lmao

Stokes has strapping on his hand. I didn't realise that.

Should he really be out there?

4 overs of Rashid left, aussies get through those with 1 or less wickets lost and England will struggle.

may not be a world beating deep lower order but Stoinis, Cummins, Starc and even to a degree Zampa can add 80+ runs and England can't afford to have them batting with more than 180-200 on the board, even just Cummins downwards

could easily be another England bloodbath, would have little confidence in them chasing down much more than low 200s with that lower order no matter how much the names may look good batsmen on paper, and with Butthead and Stokes in no real kind of form
