So, on further review of how much grunt work compiling these results looks like, I'm going to say I'm closing further submissions at this time, so the results are more or less locked in. Only exceptions are for those who had any shortage/surplus, numbering issue, or I've otherwise reached out for input ( you'll know who you are ).

So the tops of the lists are more or less settled, and there are no surprises. But given that there is still a lot left for me to do, I'll give you guys the following teasers.

The 3rd place postwar players in the batsmen, bowler and all-rounder categories are...

Lara, Hadlee, and Miller respectively.

So here it is. I've used a simple point system to assign ranking of players. So out of a total of 35 batsmen, number 35 gets 1 point, number 1 gets 35 points. These were then aggregated to reach a final score. For the all-rounders, I reduced the initial listing from your top 15s down to top 12s. This is due to the feeling that the bottoms of that list in particular tended to be also-rans, and/or names that stretched the definition of all-rounder i.e. Wasim Akram, Barlow, etc, so in order to not dilute the final compilation, I went with your top 12s for that category. Finally, I've included those who had significant point totals only to make the consensus top X for each category. Lower down the list the placements of players were often very extreme in variance or even omitted, so the final listings are shorter than the original number of entries. Once I get around and have more time, I might give an exhaustive final points value for those below the threshold (<20% of available points in category), but these final lists below include only players who exceeded the threshold.

In case you're looking for a tie breaker between Marshall and McGrath, for top bowler spot, first place votes isn't it. They both received exactly the same number of first place votes, as well as final point total.

I didn't send any votes, been busy travelling and stuff. But I like the lists for the most part.

I really dont rate cricketers aside from a top 5 or so, I tend to believe the tiers make so much more sense than any absolute rankings given the issues with cricket stats.

For me, in order, these are the top tier for each category.

Batsmen-

Bradman - Sobers - Lara - Sachin - Richards/Smith

Bowlers -

Marshall - Ambrose - McGrath - Murali - Hadlee

Allrounders -

Sobers - Imran - Miller

Yeah apart from that one its quite a decent list. AB up way too high though.

Obviously I have my personal qualms with certain players but good overall list. Only 3 of the batsmen there I didn’t have on my list, 1 of the bowlers and had all the ARs.

ARs was trickiest for me to vote - whether looking at their overall career stats and value or how round they are.

12 lists. I was looking for about 9 or 10 at least, so this is a good turnout, I would say.
