Probably the least elite but for a fast bowler I remember him being good.

Unsure what other bowlers belong. Anderson was very good in the field. Whoever it is will be on the fence so probably just needs to be solid with a strong arm. Miller maybe could slide in
Wasim was very good in the field imo. Unusually safe as a catcher for a Pakistani too.

Boult is one of the best fast bowling fielders I've ever seen. Not quite ATG as a bowler but still.

Wasim was a pretty good fielder by fast bowler standards. In fact very few outside the south African fast bowlers might be better than him. Very unusual for Pakistan.

I could be wrong, and will be accused of favoritism, but recall Maco being good in the outfield, good range, hands and arm.

Hadlee was a very good gully, but you've already picked Garner.

I think as statistical analysis of cricket evolves, it will find fielding to be much more valuable than conventional wisdom would suggest, so yes

I agree, it's just that it's harder than looking at a spreed sheet and as such is ignored.

But it's impossible to overlook the importance of having a tremendous cordon and good fielders overall.

revised and put Davo in there. Was an excellent fielder as well as meeting the criteria

Trying to hide pace bowlers in the outfield seems to be the general ploy, but it can backfire if the batsmen are hitting you around to all parts. And then outfield is the most likely place for a sudden sprint to be required, which is counterproductive to the aim of giving them a rest.

Safest place to hide a fast bowler is the showers, for mine...

Depends on a few things but I feel like all thing being equal it would be easier to bowl with a finger injury (on the non-bowling hand at least) than bat with one

If you're an off-spinner and you break one of your spinning fingers though you'll be out for a while
I could definitely bowl off spin earlier when I broke my thumb - bowling hand - than I could bat.
