Well deserved from Rashid
hallelujah, a wicket, although not the one England badly needed as Zadran was more helping England than hurting (28 off 48 balls)

maybe England can now target the other end and hope to leave Gurbaz stranded

I have the funny feeling this will go same way as deshi game, England bowlers will do diddly for a long period then all end up with a wicket and not terrible figures - well most, although Curran if he bowls say 3-0-9-2 will have figures of 5-0-35-2 which won't be nearly so bad

wickets slow down scoring, far harder to control the RR (or your ER if looking at it from the bowling side) without taking wickets as we saw when England were thumped and a few other chases that were executed without much trouble

Needed that wicket. 2 or 3 more needed now though.
whilst I don't go a bundle on having 6+ bowling options in a side unnecessarily what alternatives do England have here? Root or Livingstone, and I suspect Buttler will be filling his shorts at the prospect of what the Afghans will do with either of those until they rein in the run rate
