No. McGrath is the best ODI bowler going around. Only one to challenge him record wise is Muralitharan. Then followed by Pollock, Wasim, Garner etc.
Record isn't everything. If that's the case then Murli would have been the greatest bowler ever because he was talking 6 per match. The amount of impact Wasim's bowling had on other players was immense. He could turn the game in a single over. Plus McGrath played in an atg Aus team which helped him to maintain a good bowling average as others were also creating a lot of pressure. Pak fielders didn't supported him else he would have got more wickets.

" talking 6 per match "

ODIs? Whaat?
Man you are dumb or what. I just gave an example to show that records are not everything. That's why I gave the example of Murli's test record. Have some common sense, how can anyone have 6 wickets a match in odis.

Akram vs Pollock in ODIs. Shows how ridiculously good and consistent Pollock was in ODIs.

This will end Saqlain vs Murali debate. For 80 matches, that is about 25% of the time Murali stayed north of 800 points, which Saqlain managed in only one match.

What these show is that McGrath, Pollock, Arkam and Garner were the top ODI pacers.
