7 minute scrum and England get the try, Care running through a massive hole in the Samoan defence.

Samoan prop Jordan Lay has Dr Robotnik vibes with that mustache

Guess it was clear then. Great first half.
Really thought they were going to do it at the death with that break

Are they allowed to go back to check a try after a conversion has been kicked? 1st Fiji robbed against Wales and now Samoa robbed against England.

ITV comms mentioned something vaguely that the TMO's now had 'more time' to pull something up and that the conversion attempt wasn't the cut-off line anymore.

Pretty horrific stuff from England. Borthwick needs to make a decision on Ford or Farrell, but it can't be both. To be honest, against Fiji I'd go Farrell as there's no doubt Ford will be targeted from a defensive point of view.

Just some weird stuff form the TMO all round last night. Not sure if one side really benefitted over another, looked like a clear knock on for the first Samoan try which was never checked. Maybe that's why they overly checked the one which got chalked off.

That 7 min scrum period was one of the most frustrating periods of rugby I've seen in a long time, and I got grief from the wife for shouting at the screen!!

Feel like both teams are playing better than any previous match of the tournament so far, clear intent from both to play it their way, Argentina with hard straight running, Japan with slick hands and a few little trick (see the kick over the head at the 22) - if Japan can weather the physical storm, they may well be in this. Still expect Arg by 15 or so though.

Great try by Argentina as well, drop goal never on for Japan there.

Poor kick by Matsushima, really should of just gone deep to a corner
