Can’t think of any myself and neither can you from your response. Given his record I’m not sure Chappell has to justify himself to a cricketing incel like you. I suspect the tours he missed just weren’t challenging enough for him.

Chappell skipped the 1981 Ashes tour, and the tour of Pakistan in 1982. I think they were the only two he chose to miss.
