His ODI stats aren't home/away skewed like his Test stats. His bowling record in Asia is close to his home average.

I feel the key to winning tournaments in any sport is chemistry ..Is not always about picking the most talented guys..Guys like Woakes and Ali they are real team players and make everyone in the squad feel relaxed..
I think this English team puts a lot of value in experience rather than just pure ability..( I'm not saying Woakes is a bad player btw )
