seems like legal speak to avoid incriminating him since he wasnt proven guilty in court but you are right they didnt have to include that bit

We will know soon enough, but clearly not all departments on same page ,probable that ETH etc wanted him as you can see they are not exactly blessed with strikers.

I dunno where he goes, Italy back in the day used to take some rotters but not anymore so that's not the cert that some think.

they were obviously trying to bring him back when you were skeptical that everyone criticising it would have no effect

They keep alluding to additional info that provides context, but if they aren't willing to reveal what that info is then they should just shut up.
