Worth noting that the crowds in Cardiff are not a patch on everywhere else, wasn't even 50% full last night. I wonder if they might be better off changing the brand to Western Fire and moving to Bristol.

They've got Muyeye could maybe play him instead of wasting a young players summer.

Like they've done with a few at some of the teams.

Obviously i'm biased but Potts and Robinson 24 year old England international and Lions honours. Have not played a single minute.

While they've got a 38 and 34 year old South African and 27 year old Australian without a cap to his name playing every game. Plus 35 year old Lyth too.

I don't really see how this is helping the English game. Not like Parnell and Wiese aren't a constant on the county blast scene anyway

@Third_Man I didn't want to tempt fate but I was going to say I bet they select Clark or Bedingham from Durham.

Also what's the point of the ECB trying to fast track Muyeye availability for England if they have wasted his summer. Fail to see why "Surrey" need a replacement all the while Kent are weakened having lost Muyeye for a month for absolutely no reason

Calling them Welsh Fire and then having them also ‘represent’ two English counties as well was just stupid. I thought ‘Manchester Originals’ was bad but no doubt this one is worse.

How many players in a Hundred squad? 17-18? They should accommodate a few injuries without drafting new guys in. And I agree that this tournament should be about elite internationals not mediocre international players barely any better than English guys on the circuit who could do with the spotlight.
