Spin overs for Aus vs India in March

ODI 1: Zampa 6, Maxwell 2
ODI 2: Zampa 2
ODI 3: Zampa 10, Agar 10

And Aus won series 2-1 with that
Not convinced that's how the World Cup will play out with 269 the highest score achieved in 6 innings (the 2nd ODI was certainly an outlier). 2011 saw many 300+ scores and batting has got more aggressive since then. India won it playing 3 seamers and 2 spinners (and not much else either).

How many spinners will play in India? Assume that Zampa and Maxwell are fixed, does Agar get a game too? Or do you get the odd extra from Smith or Head?
Stating the obvious here . . . but it will depend on the pitch, the opposition, other conditions etc. Most likely will be on a game by game basis

Probably Agar vs Hazlewood for the final spot.

They're well stacked with options when it comes to getting the 50 overs in.

For aus batting line up I’d probably have Warner, Marsh, Smith, Stoines, Maxwell, Inglis in that order

Bowlers I’d go Starc, Cummins, Ellis, Zampa and probably Agar or Sangha. Maxi and Stoines can bowl a few overs here and there

I would have Travis Head batting at 4.

NZ are back in contention for the Semi Final slot, given that KW is likely to return as well.

I think India, Australia and England are almost certain to make the final 4 and then it will be between Pakistan and NZ to grab the last spot.
Yes, Santner is a capable spinner too. Macewell could have been the X-factor that they might miss.

To me, Srilanka is the darkhorse to make the semis. The team is coming together well right now. Theekshana can be quite tough to face for many opponents.

And I won't be surprised if Afghans win a few matches too thereby upsetting the standings even if they don't make it to the semis.

I can't see Aus getting within a bull's roar of winning it tbh.

you guys defeated us in a series in March it isnt that far fetched
Who’s us? Do you mean India? I don’t think you’re much good either. If it wasn’t being played at home for them they wouldn’t make the semi finals. Mediocre outfit these days

I don't rate the Aussies either but they have to have as good a chance as anyone. No really strong outfits standing out for mine

yes and we are seen as favourites by many due to home advantage and you beat us anyway

Don’t place any store in bilateral ODI series’ though. England beat Aus in an ODI series here just before the 2007 WC.

Was a 700 match tri-series tbf. But it's a good point (a rare one from you)
