Three teams are almost guaranteed to make the semis- Aus, Eng & Ind

Fourth will come from Pak, NZ or SA.

SL, Ban, Afg and NED highly unlikely to go further.

So its just those six teams. So in 4 out of 6 scenario, I really don't see Aus, Eng or India missing out as competition is not as intense as it may seem.

You should have made a separate forum for it like the ashes.

For example I have no Access to removes my thread & repost with same subject

Presumably, given they would have played 10 games in India by then if they do.
All 48 games will be play in only India for WC 2023

While

Asia Cup matches have 1st 4 game in Pakistan and rest of matches including final in Sri Lanka only, even Pakistan are Host.

Schedule is set that way so india not need to travel in Pakistan( Asia Cup starts on Aug 31st, till sep 17 ( final in SL), 2023)

India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka & Afghanistan not wants entire Asia Cup in Pakistan

ICC have no business in Asia Cup because Asia cup organizes by ACC

Jofra I don’t know if he’ll ever be pack properly. You guys were lucky to sneak him into The last World cup in 2019. He was probably Englands best player that tournament.

Also I don’t think India are favourites just because of the way their top 3 likes to bat. They usually want to build up their innings slower and then go big near the end. A few early wickets and they’re in trouble it’s what happened in the t20 World Cup against England
Jofra? you never know but sure about Bumrah whom india wants him to play in 3 t20I vs Ireland in Ireland if he is okay than he will be included for ODI World Cup

I read in newspaper that BCCI will send india B team to Ireland t20I ( Aug) & Asian Games in Chaina in sep ( first time IND will sends both their men & Women cricket team in Asian games.)

senior player for Asia cup

So far not heard nothing positive about Archer or Bumrah ji.

Interesting to see Sussex Coach Paul Farbrace say that Jofra Archer is coming along nicely with the World Cup in mind. I had assumed he wouldn't be available, but this is certainly an interesting twist.

It's hugely disappointing that there's less than TWO months to go and they still haven't finalised the world cup schedule, forget about selling any tickets yet to fans.

Let's compare this to the T20 word cup held in Australia in Oct-Nov last year. Its schedule was announced in January 2022 itself, giving fans ample time to plan and pre-book their travels.

Time to create a subforum for the world cup. Australia has announced 18 man squad with Labu left out.
We are going to have a subforum when the time comes. It's just that old mate up there seems incapable of seeing any threads not started by him. The tournament is in October and we're a week into August.

No shortage of all rounders in that squad, although seems like it's a batsman or two short.
