*Official* India in West indies 2023

Here is the thing brother , if you are going to be called a whacker your Strike Rate should reflect that ..
It simply doesn't with this West Indies group ..
Whackers implies that you score quickly ..
Only Hetmyer and Athanaze have a SR above 90 in the top 6 ..

India in comparison has 5 players in their top 6 with a SR above 90 ...

The West Indies way seems to be to eat up a load of dot balls in 50 over cricket then go for a pressure release shot ..You can't bat like that anymore in ODI cricket , Windies are basically using Windows 95 software on a Windows 11 computer and hoping for the best .

Worryingly their T20 team seems to have regressed massively which is a shame as they have a pretty impressive history in that format since it arrived.

The disparity between today's performance and the second ODI is unreal. This team is mentally weak. Is it possible to change that or is it just the mindset of personnel? I'm not sure but they can actually look very good every now and then, but usually follow that up with something diabolical like today.

India actually turned up and we rolled over without as much as a whimper. Not good enough.

I think when they traveled from Barbados to Trinidad again, they were not able to train/practice. I don't know how true that is as I've heard it on commentary.
Wasn't the flight delayed as well?

Bangladesh complained about travel arrangements on their last tour and some players over the years have mentioned about the lack of facilties and/or the conditions of what's available for them to work on.

It was delayed when they were moving from Trinidad to Barbados..a 11PM flight got delayed and they eventually boarded at 4 in the morning...

Bangladesh players were traversing the islands via ferry and most of them got seasick(which is ironic because Bangladesh is basically a river delta.)

Whatever it takes!!!
Makes me laugh. The same people that change the world games finances so we have nothing to invest in facilities complain about them when they visit. Screw them.
And you are basing all that on a "I am being told" by someone calling themselves Caribbean Cricket Podcast... sure.
