Good win for the Windies. They would have been low on confidence thought it was arrogant from India to leave out Sharma and Kohli in a live game. Still think India won on Tuesday but can’t afford to take them lightly.

it would have made sense to play the best team win today then experiment on Tuesday

Tbf we have been so utterly incompetent over the past few months, I understand the complacency.

We have also lost a lot of important tosses in ODIs recently, this was a good one to win. They also chose an entire team without any wtf selections, which is the most miraculous thing of all frankly.

You are probably right but Rovman is so lol bad at ODIs, I'd choose Carty any day. Personally, I'd open with Alick instead of Mayers and bat Carty at 3. He does know how to accelerate so the longer he is able to stay the better his record will look.

if India is so sure of Rohit and Virat form because they scored runs before then why even pick them just parachute them into the world cup by your logic

iyer and rahul are better than sky and samson they shouldn’t be in tryout section in the 1st place lol

Good bowling up front, toss is critical I think. Hope continues to make runs. Just need guys to bat around him.

Motie isn’t your regular West Indian tweaker. I like how he varied his pace today and also possesses that deadly arm ball.

Anyways, hoping for a close game on Tuesday (tongue in cheek.)

Just seen the highlights, seems like there was some really nice catching and spin bowling from WI.

Think we lost the plot against some of the short stuff yesterday especially from Romario. Kishan and Hardik nailed it but couldn't keep their pull/cuts down. Jadeja top edged one. None of those were particularly threatening deliveries imo. Axar got a pretty good one but batting Axar at 4 is a bit of an insult and why these are considered JAMODIs so I'm glad it didn't work.

Against spin I think Samson got a pretty good one and Gill threw it away a bit taking on the fielder at long off but nothing wrong with trying to do that once in a while. Having Motie around in the Tests would've been nice for WI.

Just one of those days I think, can't read too much into the batting.

Bowling wise can't tell much from highlights but we need to stop playing Umran. Mukesh ain't it for ODIs either, has a crap record and I feel like they just picked him because he was part of the Test squad and already there.

Mayers hit some ***y check pulls at the start. Reminds me of that ridiculous backfoot punch for six he played against Australia.

Surprise surprise, playing even fewer full batsmen to accommodate half a dozen all rounders didn't yield a great result.

devdutta padikkal should've debuted in odis already also

Shai and Roston have no business being there. I just don't understand how Haynes gets away with it.
