Durham playing Yorkshire in a 2nd XI game at Scarborough today. Haydon Mustard playing for Durham. One of the umpires is Phil Mustard...his father.

Could be interesting if there is an LBW appeal. :D

Haha, just read Starc found a bag of his wife's bats in the garage and stole one. Credits the lighter bat with his improved batting of late, including his 41 in the WTC final (isn't she like a foot shorter so shorter handle?)

Just wondering which Test cricketers you've actually met and spoken to

For me it's Dennis Lillee, Greg Chappell and Ian Chappell

Chanderpaul I had the opportunity to bowl at during a practice session.

It's one of the perks when first-class cricket is played at my home ground.

Of no interest whatsoever, but anything's a good opportunity to engage in cricinfo-bashing ey. My disdainful searching of it has got increasingly frenetic recently – average is something like criicnof. Anyway I was pleased that Google has learnt this excellently:

Quite right, that.

Just saw Mike Gatting on TV and remembered I met him too.

It was on day one at Headingley in 09. We were at the ground quite early, three of us, and he walked past and wished us a good morning.

We then got bowled out for 102
