What every team needs to qualify (groups A & B). Note that tie-breakers are goal difference, then goals scored, then head-to-head, then cards.
Group A
Switzerland progress with a win or draw. If they lose, they have to hope Norway-Philippines is a draw or Norway win by only one goal, while not conceding more than one themselves. That scenario could come down to goals scored.
New Zealand's fate is still in their hands and will qualify if they beat Switzerland. In a draw, they have to hope Phillipines-Norway is also a draw or Norway win by one goal to progress over them on head-to-head. If they lose they are out, either on points to the Phillipines or more likely on goal difference to Norway.
Norway have to win but are guaranteed progression if they beat the Philippines by at least two goals. In a one-goal win, they might need NZ to lose as matching the New Zealanders is likely to see Norway out on head-to-head.
The Philippines are also through with a win and out with a loss. If they draw, they have to hope for a Switzerland win or a NZ win by 4 goals to get past the Swiss on goal difference.
Group B
Nigeria are guaranteed progression with a point. If they lose, they are still through if Canada beat Australia or if Canada lose by a worse margin than they do. If Nigeria lose by only one goal and Canada-Australia is a draw, they could get through over Australia on head-to-head.
Canada are also through with a point. If they lose, they have to hope Nigeria lose by a worse margin. If both lose and the margin is equal, Canada could be out on goals scored or on cards.
Australia are through if they beat Canada and out if they lose. In a draw, they have to hope Nigeria lose to Ireland without scoring or lose by 2+ goals to avoid the head-to-head.
Ireland are out.
