Rank these Aggressive Modern Bats

kyear2

International Coach
Lara

When on song, can hit good balls to and over the boundary against spin or pace with technique and minimal risk. It's the last two that separates him from the rest.

Greenidge was close though and hit the ball ridiculously hard.

Gale was a hitter not a batsman

As opposition, Ponting scared me the most. Honestly believed for a time he would have ended his career the best after Bradman and ahead of SRT and BCL

KP was aggressive, but always gave me the feeling we had a chance

Hayden looses points because he almost had to wait for the era to get a bit easier, but could demoralize an attack.

Gilly did what Hayden did, but when the bowlers were already a little beaten down, then he buried them. Probably one of the greatest weapons in cricket history.

Lara was minimal risk? Always felt he was riding his luck and was edgy.

Surprising that Lara gets a mention in everyone's list and Sachin does not. Sachin was as destructive as Lara too.

Without referring to strikerates, how would you rank these ten bats based on sheer aggression and destructiveness?

Viv
Greenidge
Lara
Ponting
Gilly
Sehwag
Hayden
KP
Warner
Chris Gayle
Hayden does not belong in there. Ponting neither. Were two pretty normal test bats. The older Warner is a mellow bat too.

I rate Rishabh Pant next to Viv and Sehwag. The rest are just good test batters who can play aggressively once set. Those three can go from ball 1.

Then rate them lower.
