FHK got absolutely flogged by AXI but ZCC registered a nice win over TMO in CWC9 today

FHK with a couple of decent senior team performances Vs Brisbane Lions despite resting veteran leggie LOY for upcoming seam bowling all-rounder SYK

Ewen Rockall will age out of Dev cricket this season, at which point ZCC have a difficult call to make - either release him on the TM, or draft him into the starting XI at the expense of Sampath Ramalingam

The argument for selling Ewen is that Sampath has got the exp and we've built the attack well around him. Ewen is young and will fetch a better price on the TM.

However, we will need to replace Sampath at some stage and we don't have any other young gun quick coming through the ranks yet. Is now the time to make the transition, so we have a spearhead in place for the next 6-7 seasons?

The decision will have to be made in about 10 weeks, by which point we will know if we're staying up in Div 1 or not. That will certainly factor into our planning.

Actually kinda confused about why I set ZCC to bat first but perhaps because the middle order is a bit too fragile to be chasing under pressure.

Kinda easy if you do it with your own player Benjamin Butler . I think i missed the point as it was more due to their performances . Not bad for a Guy averaging 46 in OD as a 22 year old .
