Congrats to shan masood for cementing his spot for the rest of wtc cycle. Look at him with his fancy bazballing. Cant wai to see him score 8(4)
Babar azam praise Omar Yusuf regarding best batsman in pak but i count on Hurrira to replace Shafiq as openerCongrats to shan masood for cementing his spot for the rest of wtc cycle. Look at him with his fancy bazballing. Cant wai to see him score 8(4)
Root and Babar very similar captaincy style - no inspiration - going with the motion - no killer instinctNot sure why the slander on Babar Azam captaincy? This is a masterclass move to let SL score more runs so he can score 150+ and steal the no.1 ranking.
thinking ahead
Shakeel SOS act againBatting looks very easy right now. These 2 are gun but disappointed by the top order. Hope Babar makes up for it in the second innings.
He's one of those players who race to a 50 in an hour without anyone really noticing. Like Greg Chapell or Root before Bazball. Hope he goes big. Fawad Alam was Hank Azaria whom I'm not quite over but Shakeel is Mike Hannigan, a fine replacement.Shakeel SOS act again
And eventually the one you marry? Also, why say Azaria but then not say Paul Rudd? He's one of those players who race to a 50 in an hour without anyone really noticing. I just googled and that's the name I got, lol. But yeah it looks like we're going to end up with Shakeel who's pretty gun but you still wonder what could've been with Fawad. And eventually the one you marry? Also, why say Azaria but then not say Paul Rudd?
I wonder if Fawad Alam's acting career is going better than his batting career did.I just googled and that's the name I got, lol. But yeah it looks like we're going to end up with Shakeel who's pretty gun but you still wonder what could've been with Fawad.
400+ at this stage seems a little far fetched doesn't it?I hope we get a 100 run lead. Would need to bat 40 overs i.e a session and third for that at this rate. Bowl them out before lunch on day 4 ideally or tea at most and then hopefully get 200 odd quickly. The rain should prevent the pitch from breaking down as much as it should, right?
Total road still. All the wickets today were soft AF. Just need one of these two to go big with some tonking from the tail. SL could benefit greatly from play stopping when the current partnership was looking like a million bucks tho.400+ at this stage seems a little far fetched doesn't it?
Rain should help only slightly given how good the ground staff is in bringing the covers on it seems.
This would by definition describe the vast majority of tests. This is two mediocre teams battling it out. Test cricket is in a terrible state.
Only Australia and India seem like 'strong' sides ATM. England will bulldoze bad sides but not good ones or in tough conditions. The rest are medicore [Pak, SRL, NZ, RSA] or outright poor [WI, Zim, Bang]. I don't consider Ireland or Afghanistan worthy of discussion yet. TBH even Bangladesh and Zimbabwe have failed to make the grade. This would by definition describe the vast majority of tests.

I mean yeah but there are only 2 or 3 strong teams around at any given time on average. No doubt Pakistan is weaker than average right now but India is much stronger than their overall standard historically.Only Australia and India seem like 'strong' sides ATM.
