He still has half a chance, Samarawickrama hasn't yet settled yet in his keeping duties and Madushka looks to be opening the batting now but the most likely outcome is that Madhushka will get the gloves if Sadeera fails and Pathum Nissanka will go back to opening the batting .

I donā€™t think thatā€™s what heā€™s talking about. It doesnā€™t have much bearing on cricket.

Both teams seem to have a lot of mutual respect for each other I feel. You almost never see sledging or any issues between the sides. Most of the locals love the likes of Akram and Waqar. If there have been issues I canā€™t recall them.

Lot of pressure on Ramesh Mendis. He has stringed some useful scores in A team games recently. He has a ****ing triple century in FC, so he could bat. If he can be as good as Vaas with the bat, we would have a nicely balanced batting lineup. Otherwise it is just some seasons where he loses out his place to Dunith Wellalage or Kamindu Mendis

We have Nawaz in the squad who is much better than Noman with the ball. He is a better batter too. Yet Babar picked Noman!

Nawaz would be a no rounder in tests. He takes 2 WPM in FC. I don't think he's a much better bowler than Agha Salman and he's a much worse batsman. What we need is prime Yasir Shah, someone who can occupy one end all day and take wickets regularly. This is the single biggest thing that's gone wrong in the last 4 years.

We have Zafar Gohar too. He has 269W in 73M. Not world class but better than Noman, Nawaz & Agha Salman.
Our selectors debuted him on NZ roads in 2021 & then dropped him !
