Is Ashwin an ATG spinner / player?

Don't exaggerate. I give Ashwin credit for a good series but a three-fer as a highlight of his SENA performances isn't something to write home about, he needed to give more than that in other matches.

Kumble was against an ATG lineup on roads and set up and nearly won them the last test. And beyond that has at least a handful of other performances.
It's not "a three-fer" you braindead moron, in his last 2 tours of Australia, he's picked up 18 wickets at 27 on pitches where these days every visiting spinner gets murdered, and includes two test match wins in which he played a huge role. You were the one who brought up "impact". As good as Kumble was, his spells didnt lead to any wins. You will make me repeat it ad naseum but Ill do it again. He made Steve Smith, who's arguably the best since bradman, look completely foolish for two tests. His hold on him was one of the biggest factors factors in us winning the series.

Now shut the **** up. It's clear you didnt watch those games or are intentionally misremembering, because this nonsensical obsession with "Oh but where were the 5fers" makes no sense, it has nothing to do with actual real match impact which Ashwin had. It was one of the best series a spinner has had in Australia in ages. It is definitely "something to write home about". You complete simpleton.

time to judge career away records on two tours lads
Who's judging his whole career you idiot? I'm responding to @subshakerz incorrect assertion that Ashwin has hardly any impactful performances overseas. Being one of the best bowlers in the lineup as a spinner on two winning tours (well one and one third or so) to Australia is as impactful as it gets.

ashwin hardly having any impactful performances overseas stems from judging his entire away career, ‘idiot’

So you admit that you do consider his Australia series impactful then, just not his away career as a whole? Good then there's nothing to discuss.

That wasn't what you implied before but I'll let it go.
Yes I guess through this conversation, that has become clearer. I have given him credit for that Aussie tour.

Subshakerz is absolutely correct. Even in this proposed second half youve just made, filtering Ashwin’s stats in Australia from 2015, shows him sitting at an average of 32.5
This is just ordinary everyday spin bowling. I dont see anything of impact or some game changing effect
