My heart is heavy watching WI now. This is a shambles. How did it all go so wrong? Up to 2000, WI were a serious team. Amby, Walsh, Lara, Chanderpaul - even Rose and co were ok. Was there such a dearth of planning?

Numerous factors , bad administration, T20 leagues being more of a priority for players than West Indies ..Also I reckon Basketball , Track and Field and American sports have lured a lot of Carribean youngsters away from cricket cause those disciplines really exploded in the 80's and 90's ..

I suspect this is terminal. I hope at least some talent emerges that can light up the day periodically, if not regularly.

Wtc final would have been a close game but fools didn't pick no.1 ranked bowler.

And Australia had so many lefties too!
