Yeah I too didn't have any idea of what a goatse is and just Googled. Weird that that is a term and weird still that people post that.

maybe it’s in part a generational thing at play here in that growing up it was all the rage as a geeup to trick your mates into looking up meat spin or lemon party, however i’m not personally particularly fazed by what nintendo did. i’d say it’s obviously jejune and a bit crass, but i do suspect he being younger than me he probably had a similar experience on the internet with his mates at a young age; on the other hand, one of the biggest ways racism and other forms of vile bile sneak under through the radar is, you guessed it, their label as “political opinion”
