I just realised he's back at Somerset today. You probably knew that already.Time to play the which county Dom Bess plays for this week game.
Recalling Bess on loan after letting him leave in the summer, after loaning him out prior to that. That Somerset attack is something…
Totally agreeRecalling Bess on loan after letting him leave in the summer, after loaning him out prior to that.
Just mind bogglingly stupid.
@CartyDurham disgraceful treatment of your Dom
Playing with something masquerading as a cricket ball from Australia.Prior to the rain, the Worcestershire attack did not do much with the ball after inserting despite what one would think were favourable pitch and overhead conditions.
Can only comment on Durham games but been very easy scoring in our first game and so far for Gloucs todayTrue, though other games in this and the last round saw some lower scores.
I think it'sI've lost count of all the loan signings just at Durham let alone all the other counties.

totally agree - absolutely ridiculous that the "big" counties use itAs I may have said before on this board, I really dislike the loan system as it cuts against cricket as a team or squad game and dilutes the sense of a club. I would rather it was only used on extreme occasions such as every wicketkeeper on the staff being injured. Otherwise counties should rely on their internal resources and promote a player from the second team.
agree but not sure what the limit should be, because the concept should be around emergency. But yes to 4-6 weeks.I would put a limit on the number of loan players a county can sign. Maybe also make the loan period a minimum of 4 to 6 weeks. That would hopefully put an end to these "quick fixes" and encourage counties to pick from their own squads such as reserves or youth teams.
