*Official* Third Test (Headingley, Leeds) 6–10 July

Yep. Everyone could see this coming - except, apparently, England's team management, who decided to persist with the bloke who bowled a **** ton of overs and has had fitness/injury concerns in the past when they had a perfectly good, fit and impressive young fast bowler who could have backed up in this game.
Throw in the fact that Woakes is a natural opening bowler (arguably more so than Robinson) and it’s even more baffling.

Why wasn't Marsh included from 1st test. What the hell are the selectors thinking. I mean if someone is in form, it should be obvious. Cam green limp d*** batting is awful in comparison

This guy is slogging four, after four after four.

why would it do so? wouldn't having two allrounders compensate for one fulltime bowler?
Marsh is ****e who's been dropped based on the same frailties as he's always shown and has struck it well and Green ain't that much better on current evidence. Reckon Green has some potential as a bowler though vs Marsh absolute nothing bowler

Green needs to be told to play like MMarsh is today. Might not have the raw power but has more technique.

He showed this form in ODI cricket this year. This clean thru the line hitting. It reminds me of Gilchrist, albeit he is a right handed version of Gilly

Gilly was the first true bazball of the modern era.
