All time Asian-XI

people please understand that Hanif Mohammad began his career at the age of 17.

It took him a while to settle in obviously and thats why his stats are butchered. From the age of 22 and onwards, Hanif averaged 52 with the bat.
He merits the opening spot in an asian atg xi as much as gavaskar does. Given his 20 year career and his unreal knocks especially the longest knock in history against 60s Windies at Windies (999 minutes). There are other defensive displays he has shown numerous times as well. One of then is against Aus at Aus where he did a successful blockathon for 2 days to give australia just a few overs to bat to chase the easy target which they couldnt cause Hanif consumed all the play standing there to avoid losing and causing a draw. Those pushing Dravid because of his defense have no idea how mighty Hanif’s defense was. He holds the 2nd highest FC score in history for a reason!

Upon reading many past posts here, it’s unfortunate to see Imran’s bowling being levelled with Kapil in ODIs.

i would suggest people, to check Imran’s incredibly world class ODI bowling stats from debut (age 21) till the age of 36.

his bowling stats took a hit after that due to his age and being recalled after retirement to lead pakistan in the wc.

agree... Kapil was a good bowler...But Imran was truly great with the ball... more so in tests... but even in ODIs he was amazing...

Hasaranga is fraud and that's way too light on batting
not in t20s and Rizwan and Kohli as accumulators will suck 8-10 overs anyways. From there I want power hitting which is deep anyways to finish the last 10 overs

edit: forgot yuvraj, added him over pandya, surely the lineup looks balanced now

Hasaranga is SKY level cracked in T20Is. Put whatever filters you want on them, but they stay true to their stats. Insane cricketers.
